We’re thrilled to share that Homegrown has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy® Award in the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category - for the second consecutive year.

Hosted by Atlanta-based urban farmer Jamila Norman, Homegrown is a lifestyle series that transforms ordinary backyards into productive, sustainable mini farms. With her background in environmental engineering, Jamila brings hands-on expertise to every episode - from rainwater harvesting and soil building to planting heirloom vegetables and building chicken coops.

Each episode is more than just a transformation story. Homegrown is designed to inspire: showcasing not only practical tools for backyard farming, but also virtues like patience, resilience, and the power of potential. The show blends education, entertainment, and emotional connection - offering viewers a deeper appreciation for their food, environment, and community.

The nomination was officially announced on July 10, 2025, and the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be held in Pasadena, CA October 17, 2025.

Homegrown is executive produced by Jennifer Mador and Nicole Chiulli.

Stay tuned for updates from the red carpet!
